Reaching this vantage point was no small feat. I trekked five miles through challenging terrain, ascending over 3,000 feet to stand at the edge of the ridge. The climb tested endurance and resolve, but it was essential to capture the raw intersection of natural forces: the majestic Rockies and the creeping wildfire smoke.
