Above the stunning Copper Mountain, Colorado, there is an awe-inspiring segment of the Colorado Trail and the Continental Divide Trail that spans approximately 26 miles, stretching towards the historic town of Leadville. During the summer months, adventure seekers face the inherent risks of rain, hail, and the booming sounds of thunder. Yet, amidst these challenges, there exists a breathtaking beauty that captivates the heart. In this particular photo I captured some of that beauty — the radiant sun striking the mountains as it breaks through the swirling clouds, illuminating the landscape in a captivating display.
